This little boy LOOOOVES him a cat.
When we lost our dog back in February, I thought we would get a new dog soon after. But I was worried about how that would impact our elderly family member.
Plus I am not sure Dr. Dad was so ready to get a new dog.
Time goes on, however, and to be honest, after a cat related health scare this weekend, I am not sure we should be without a "buffer" pet.
Do you know about those? It's the pet you have to soften the blow of losing another pet. It sounds kind of harsh typed out there...but I know having the cat around after loosing the dog was very helpful.
So, we have just put in an adoption application for a dog.
I will let you know how it goes.
In the meantime...we will keep enjoying the cat.
